About David
I'm David P. Schultz — founder of Window Washing Warriors, Northeastern Alberta's top-rated exterior cleaning company. But my real passion isn't just clean windows. It's showing the next generation that they can build something of their own.
I started my first business at 15 years old with my younger brother and our dad. What began as a small family operation has grown into a company with over 1,500 successful jobs and hundreds of five-star reviews. Along the way, I learned that the real measure of success isn't just revenue — it's the freedom to be present with the people you love.
The Why Behind It All
Growing up, my dad always prioritized time with his kids — me and my siblings. He was always there. But he never made a lot of money. I watched him choose presence over prosperity, and I loved him for it.
But I also decided something: I didn't want to have to choose. I wanted both. I wanted to make a great living and have the time to be with my family. I didn't want to be broke. And I didn't want to be absent.
That tension — between financial success and time freedom — became the engine that drove everything I've built. It's why I shifted from being a technician (doing all the work myself) to being an owner (building systems, hiring teams, and buying back my time).
"I decided I wanted to make a lot of money and have time with my family, I just needed to find someone to show me how to do it."
Today, I channel that same drive into mentoring young people. I speak at colleges, high schools, and entrepreneur events because I believe every student deserves to know: you can build a business that serves your life. You don't have to wait for permission. You don't need a degree or a trust fund. You just need to find something you're good at, something people will pay for, and the courage to start.
What I Stand For
My dad taught me that without faith, everything is meaningless. Without family, money is meaningless. Get those two set first, then figure out the money piece.
Attention to detail and excellence in everything. We obsess over making the glass invisible — and that standard extends to every part of our business.
Over 350 five-star reviews don't happen by accident. It means we do what we say and say what we do, every single time.
The real legacy isn't the business — it's the people you develop along the way. I'm building the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
