The Warrior's Path

My Entrepreneurial
Journey

From climbing trees at 15 to building Northeastern Alberta's top-rated home service company. This is the story of how a kid with a bucket and a squeegee built a business — and a mission.

2008The Beginning

A 15-Year-Old with a Unique Skill

I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. At 15, I realized I could do something that others couldn't — and they were willing to pay me for it. I had a really good sense of balance. I grew up climbing trees, and most people are afraid of heights. So going and working up at heights was uniquely easy for me. That's where it all started — me, my younger brother Johnathan, and our dad Daniel, washing windows together as a small family operation.

2008–2015The Grind

Learning the Hard Way

For years, I was the business. I was the technician, the salesperson, the accountant, and the customer service rep — all rolled into one. I knew nothing about how to actually run a business. I just knew how to clean windows. But every mistake was a lesson, and every lesson made the foundation stronger. I was building something, even when I didn't fully understand what.

The Turning PointThe Shift

From Technician to Owner

The thing that really shifted my mindset from being a technician to being an owner was my deep desire to have time freedom with my family. My dad grew up prioritizing time with his kids — me and my siblings — but he never made a lot of money. I decided that I wanted both: to make a lot of money AND have time to be with my family. Because I didn't want to be broke. That decision changed everything. I stopped doing all the work myself and started building systems, hiring a team, and buying back my time.

Growth EraThe Scale

Building a Team-Run Business

Window Washing Warriors grew from a one-man operation into Northeastern Alberta's most trusted exterior cleaning company. Over 1,500 successful jobs. Over 350 five-star reviews. A team of trained technicians who deliver the "Warrior Standard" of excellence. I learned to leverage software and AI to do the heavy lifting — automating scheduling, customer communication, and operations so the business could run without me being in every truck.

TodayThe Mission

Developing Young Entrepreneurs

Today, my mission goes beyond clean windows. At Window Washing Warriors, our goal is to train young people to start their own businesses. We're developing young entrepreneurs today that will build the businesses of tomorrow. I speak at colleges, high schools, and entrepreneur events because I believe every student deserves to know: you can build a business that serves your life. You don't need to wait for permission.

The FutureThe Legacy

What Comes Next

I'm on a mission to reach more students, more classrooms, and more stages. I want to be the mentor I wish I'd had at 15 — someone who could show me that it's possible to build something real, even from a small town in rural Alberta. If I can help even one young person believe they can start their own business, then everything I've built was worth it.

"I didn't have a business mentor when I started — and I know how much that would have changed my journey. That's why I'm committed to being the mentor I didn't have, helping young entrepreneurs and students grow, lead, and scale their businesses."
